About Nalgene:
At Nalgene, we’re all about helping people simplify their lives while respecting the environment.
That’s why we created reusable containers of all kinds, made from a wide range of materials to suit your personal preferences, needs and lifestyle.
So whether you’re looking for a virtually indestructible drinking bottle for a backcountry adventure, or you want a clean, green way of storing your dry pasta, you’ll find a Nalgene product that gets the job done.
Travel Kit Description:
A handy Travel Kit made of 6 sturdy BPA free Plastic Bottles.
A selection of 4 guaranteed leak-proof, durable bottles some with independent screw caps, some with handy dispensing caps and 2 storage jars. The storage jars are not recommended for liquid storage (see below).
Nalgene has very high standards when it comes to calling a container leak-proof. They fill up the container and then pressurize it. If it does not leak they consider it to pass the test and be worthy of being called leak proof. They test the jars by filling them with water and then turning them upside down. If no water comes out they consider the jar to pass the test.
So jars will hold liquid but they are not held to as high a standard as the 4 Nalgene bottles included in this kit. The jars may be a better choice for thicker liquids such as lotions or gels. And of course they are great for Tums, or Advil.
Includes:
Dishwasher Safe (top rack only). Perfect for international Travel.
Note: On 9/26/2006 the TSA modified its ban on liquids. Travelers may now carry through security checkpoints travel-size toiletries (3 ounces or less) that fit comfortably in ONE, QUART-SIZE, clear plastic, zip-top bag. We recommend checking http://www.tsa.gov since the rules seem to change frequently.
