About Laguiole Knives:

The home of the globally famous Laguiole knives is in Thiers, a small French town in the region of Auvergne, which has been renowned for cutlery for 500 years.

For generations, the elegant knives with the bee, the heraldic animal of Napoleon have been manufactured in Thiers in various versions and designs. They were initially inspired by folding knives from Andalusia.

Today Laguiole Knives are functional with a wide range of applications for everyday usage. They have even become an expression of the French lifestyle.

The handmade Laguiole knives signed Robert David will impress you with the exclusive choice of materials, high quality processing and their attention to detail.

Named after the French knife city of Thiers, this Folder from the Knifemaker Robert David compels with it elegant lines. Handmade embellishments on the spine between the Stainless Steel Liners underscore the refined style and are an eye catcher for any Knife Enthusiast.

The L'Alpin is the heavier version of the classic Laguiole concept. While its elegance is directly traced to the traditional design, it nevertheless presents a slightly broader profile than its slimmer peers.

The 8.9 cm satin-finished Blade is manufactured from  Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel. The filework on the spine spring and blade are a visual treat and give the thumb additional grip.

The Olive Wood Handle Scales give the knife a particularly refined and elegant appeal.
