As such it is not that surprising that this machete was meant to be used in the jungle. But also when pruning blackberry bushes or for using in and around a bushcraft camp the Darien will be the perfect choice.
The Darien features an ergonomic Micarta Handle for all day comfort and a 12.38” blade (18.18” overall).
When you look at the Micarta Handle critically you could say that it looks a little plain. And that is exactly what it is meant to look like! In reality you namely have a lot more grip over the machete with a handle like this. Sharp corners or finger grooves in the wrong places are namely not practical at all. Because of the rough texture of the micarta you have enough grip. Even while wearing gloves. It is also suited for different-sized hands. From small to large.
