Knife Description:

It’s tough to argue with the success of the world’s most recognizable, time-tested fixed-blade knife so KA-BAR did what any smart company would do, they didn’t change the original design, they expanded upon it.

The Ka-Bar Mark I Kraton G has a super duty 1095 Cro-Van High Carbon Steel blade with a high-carbon, non-reflective black epoxy powder coating. Tests prove the finish is more durable than ever.

The classic oval shape of the original KA-BAR remains and the handle has been modernized with a material nearly impervious to sweat, chemicals, water and wear, Kraton G.

The Ka-Bar Mark I is an ideal Knife, suited to all Hunting, Outdoor and Camping tasks.

The Mark I comes with a hard plastic sheath with nylon attachment, and snap closure easily swivels around for left or right hand carry. The sheath is highly protective and can withstand rough treatment in harsh terrains.

It is known for its resistance to impact, corrosion, and abrasion. Its all-weather performance, imperviousness to most chemicals, petroleum-based products and moisture, including salt water has made it very popular with underwater divers.

With its many lashing ports and double snap closures, the sheath can be mounted in several different positions.
