EKA has done it again! The company that brought you the internationally recognized and acclaimed “Original” G3 Swingblade. The EKA G4 is a new take on the original tried and proven design and concept.

EKA have solved the one weakness in their Swingblade G3. EKA Swedblade G4 is the result of more than 15 years of manufacturing – a combination knife with an integrated belly opener. The knife has changed handles, and they have developed a button mechanism so that it can be taken apart for efficient cleaning!

EKA has kept the parts that in our opinion made the knife so appreciated, namely the steel (hardened Sandvik 12C27), the knife’s stylish design and above all its functions. The Blade hardened to 57 – 59 on the Rockwell Scale helps to achieve a durable edge and maintain sharpness.
The difference between G3 and G4: The problem with the previous versions was that if you did not wash the knife immediately after use, blood, hair and fat got stuck between the scales, but with the new G4 this problem is now resolved. Disassembly for cleaning is now easily done with a recessed “button” at the bottom of the handle that is pushed in and down, then the scales and the blade come apart so you can ensure that your knife maintains good hygiene.
The Handle is manufactured out of Black Proflex which gives the knife a good grip and has a place to attach a Lanyard to keep your G4 with you and where it should be.

This innovative, rotating blade knife features a Drop-Point Skinner on one side. Then, push the lock button and the blade changes to the most efficient Gutting Knife for big game. The Gutting Blade cuts beneath the skin to open game like a zipper and eliminates the chance of cutting hair or internal organs.

The 8 cm Gut Opener has a stub nose to prevent damage to internal organs. Cutting from the inside also means that the edge will stay sharper longer and you won't get hair on the meat.

The knife comes with a molded Kydex Belt Sheath.
