About Douk-Douk P. Cognet Knives:
The original Douk-Douk Knife is completely manufactured in the Cognet workshops in Thiers on the traditional and authentic way, with the same methods and materials that have made its reputation around the world.
The steel is carefully selected. The production has remained almost entirely manual, guarantee you a high quality and fidelity to the spirit of the knife intended by its designer, Gaspard said Gaston Cognet.
Cheap, simple, but ultra-reliable, the Douk Douk Knife has been used for over 70 years by the French; it sports a single Carbon Steel Blade and with folded Steel Handle.
Famous in the former French colonies for over 70 years and used recently for decades by the Army and in the French Foreign Legion, these are tough.
Knife Description:
This Le Thiers Folder from Douk-Douk is a traditional French-made Slip-Joint Folder.
The 10.5 cm Carbon Steel Clip-Point Style blade is full-flat ground and satin finished, stamped "Le Thiers par P. Cognet" on front.
The Handle is made from black Ebony Wood and set atop brass liners.
The ‘Le Thiers’ is an outstanding knife that represents a distillation of the ancestral know-how of a long-standing cutlery tradition. Le Thiers knives meet a specific quality and design standards and are made in Thiers, France.
Comes in black Foam Gift Box.
