About Condor:

CONDOR Tool and Knife traces its proud history back to 1787, the year Gebr. Weyersberg Company was founded in Solingen Germany, the cutlery capital of the world.

In 1964 the company built a new plant in Santa Ana, El Salvador and filled it with state of the art German equipment in order to turn out the finest quality machetes, shovels and other hand tools.

Condor Tool & Knife’s parent company, IMACASA was formed in the 1980’s when the company decided to sell the Central and South America operations to local investors.

Today; Condor Tool & Knife is one of the largest machete manufacturers in the world operating 24 hours, 7 days a week to fill an increasing demand for its products.

Machete Description:

The 14 Inch El Salvador Machete is another in the line of Condor`s excellent machetes. They are extremely well balanced, comfortable for extended use and use good quality materials at an affordable price.

The Condor El Salvador Machete is made from 1075 High Carbon Steel and comes with a High Impact Polypropylene Handle.

The blade is heat treated and annealed to approximately 53 Rockwell Harness. The Edges are hand-finished and polished to razor sharpness.

All Condor Machetes arrive razor sharp from the factory, no additional sharpening required.
