Knife Description:
The Wusthof Classic Yanagiba Knife features the classic single-bevel Blade and sSyling that define traditional Japanese Cutlery. Designed to cut paper-thin slices of fish and meat, this knife is a necessity for preparing Sushi and Sashimi.
The Wusthof Classic Yanagiba Knife comes with a 23 cm Blade manufactured out of no-stain X50 Cr Mo 15 Stainless Steel. It comes with a Bamboo Blade Guard.
Every Wusthof Classic knife is forged from one piece of specially tempered high carbon steel to ensure outstanding strength, balance and heft.
The new Wusthof PEtec edge is fully forged and stays sharp up to 30 percent longer than other knives.
The Classic black handles are made of synthetic material triple riveted seamless to the full tang for a seamless and hygienic fit. The Signature finger guard feature accounts for the heft.
Not only comfortable to hold, but the skillfully honed by hand blades are also incredibly sharp, and are easily resharpened.
Each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand.
Computer controlled grinding and polishing procedures result in precise tapering from bolster to tip and from back to edge. Completely buffed and polished by hand
