Knife Description:
An awesome new, and more practical, take on the Chinese Chef Knife shape, you'll love the new Wusthof Classic Chai Dao if you're looking for something new and unique and versatile!
The Chai Dao is sort of a cross between a Chinese Chef‘s Knife Shape (big Cleaver Shape, not too practical if you're not used to it) and a normal Chef Knife or even Santoku. So you get the wide and easy-to-handle size of a Santoku, but with an even deeper and slightly more curved shape which is very useful for slicing, cutting and dicing veggies and smaller meats. A really great and unique All-around Kitchen Knife!
The new Wusthof PEtec Edge is fully forged and stays sharp up to 30 percent longer than other knives, and its blade is just right size to pour through immense chopping, slicing and dicing tasks with ease.
Every Wusthof Classic Knife is forged from one piece of specially tempered X50 Cr Mo V 15 Stainless Steel to ensure outstanding strength, balance and heft. The Classic black handles are made of synthetic material triple riveted to the full tang for a seamless and hygienic fit.
Not only comfortable to hold, but the skillfully honed by hand blades are also incredibly sharp, and are easily resharpened. Each knife is carefully weighted to ensure perfect balance in the hand.
Note: Knife not suitable for chopping through Bones.
