The Morakniv Basic Wood Carving Knife is, as the name suggests, an ideal entry-level knife for Carving and Woodworking. With such a small price tag the knife is perfect for beginners, yet the typically high-quality High Carbon Steel Mora blade makes it suitable for more experienced users as well.
The Mora 164 Hook / Spoon Blade for Spoon Carving is manufactured out of Sandvik 12C27M Stainless Steel. Oiled Birch Wood Handle. Blade Length 50 mm. Internal Radius of 20 - 25 mm.
The Knife has a 17 cm overall length and comes absolutely razor sharp and ready for use. This knife has a shallow curve and a good starter for spoon carving.
The Basic Wood Carving Hook Knife comes complete with a tough handle made from Birch Wood.
The knife has a Rockwell Hardness of 57-58 which gives the knife extreme strength, long life and high resistance to moisture.
