About Global:
 
The first GLOBAL knives were designed in 1985 by Komin Yamada whose remit was to develop a range of knives which was truly new and revolutionary, harnessing the best materials available and the most modern design concepts.
 
From very modest beginnings GLOBAL has developed into one of the success stories of the 1990's. Still crafted by hand in Yoshikin's factory in Niigata to the most exacting standards, they are sold in more than 65 countries around the world.

This Global Niigata Knife Block Set is perfect for smaller kitchens and anyone living in an apartment.
 
This minimal knife block is made from beautiful walnut timber and features two essential kitchen knives: a paring knife and a cook's knife. It is the ideal set for anyone to have in a humble kitchen and gives you not just a stylish display, but also easy access to your knives when preparing meals.

The Global Classic G Series are basic model kitchen knives assuring sharp, light, and clean use. GLOBAL knives are made from the finest stainless steel material.
 
The 8” G2 Cook’s Knife is very multi-purpose and the workhorse of the kitchen. Perfect for mincing, cutting, chopping, slicing and prep work.
 
The G104 Paring Knife is mainly used for peeling fruits and vegetables or slicing very small pieces of meat.
 
Global Knives are made from CROMOVA 18 Stainless Steel, specially developed by GLOBAL as it holds a razor-sharp edge and resists rust, stains and corrosion. Ice tempered and hardened to Rockwell C56-58, each knife is carefully weighted by filling the handles with sand to achieve the optimum weight and perfect balance.
 
Other unique features include its smooth contours and seamless construction which eliminates food and dirt traps offering the ultimate in safety and hygiene. The acute 15-degree angle cutting edge provides unsurpassed performance and superior edge retention.
 
The handle is one of the most distinctive features of Global knives. Sort of their trademark design. The handle is metal and the knife is one solid piece. To improve the grip handle is textured with multiple circular recessions which show up as black dots in the handle.
