Knife Description:
Fallkniven’s new X-series of Survival Knives may be the strongest, sharpest and safest Stainless Steel knives in production. Designed to withstand all the stresses applied by the human hand, which means that used with care and as intended (i.e. as a sharp precision tool, and not as a throwing knife or wood splitter), they are virtually indestructible and totally reliable in the field.
The new F1x comes with the Swedish quality Steel Elmax. Elmax is a high-alloy Powder Steel with high corrosion resistance and high wear resistance.
Your X-knife is the strongest, sharpest and safest stainless steel knife in production. If your life is in danger, you can always rely on your X-knife. It is designed to withstand all the stresses applied by the human hand, which means that it is virtually indestructible. It assumes, however, that you are careful with the knife and that it is used as intended, namely as a sharp precision tool.
The basis of the X-knife’s strength lies in the well-thought-out construction in which break zones have been eliminated. Together with the hand-shaped convex edge, the X-knife is a concept that beats everything else in the world in terms of safety and comfort.
The safe, comfortable Suregrip Thermorun Handle, together with an extremely hard and resilient special laminated Elmax Steel, means that the knife can be used for all kinds of normal - but also demanding - work. For its size, it has yet to be bettered!
The newly molded Zytel Sheath is thoughtfully designed for safety and easy access - it has both a transport lock (the folding bracket with a strap) and a working safety detail that allows the knife to be in place until you decide to use it. The transport lock will therefore allow the knife to be fastened tip-up or tip-down safely on the body or equipment.
We are convinced that the X-Knife, the world’s most well designed Survival knife and brings out the very best from an ergonomic and safety point of view. The knife is sharp and strong, the sheath is smart and safe. It happens to be really good looking too.
