With Lars Fält's experience of what works in the wilderness and Casström's knowledge of making knives, it was clear from the start the Lars Falt Fält knife was going to be a winner.
If you want a knife for your next wilderness trip, then look no further. Lars Fält is Sweden’s outdoors legend. He has trained Swedish and British military units in winter survival and is also the author of many outdoor books as well as the designer of this knife.
This is a knife that isn't afraid of tough work, and will still look great at the end of the day!
Due to its Scandinavian design and the Scandi grind, it is a robust, all-purpose outdoor knife.
The Blade is made of Uddeholm Sleipner steel, a tough Tool Steel hardened to 59-60 HrC with an excellent edge retention. Scandinavian grind, along with the steel properties, makes the knife robust, effective for wood carving, and easy to sharpen in the outdoors.
Handle scales made of Nordic masur birch. This robust type of wood has a very interesting look due to the contrast between the light-coloured heartwood and dramatic dark-coloured veins radiating through the wood. Black liner material between handle scales and tang.
Comes in a sturdy vegetable tanned Leather Sheath with Drining Hole and Belt Loop.
Note: Not rustproof, Blade needs to be protected adequately!
