About Bark River:
Bark River Knives is a family-owned business, located in Escabana. Michigan, whose goal is to produce the finest semi-production cutting tools available on the market.

Knife Description:
The NorthStar was Bark River's first entry into the Bushcraft Task Arena. It is a great General Purpose Knife but excels at Woodcraft tasks. The Spear Point blade is the most popular shape for this kind of field work.
The Bark River NorthStar has gone through a few changes and evolutions over the years.
This version of the North Star features an A2 Tool Steel blade and carries the Bark River Bushcraft Compass Point Mark on the right facing of the blade.
The Bark River Northstar Knife is a real winner, with its 10.2 cm Spear-Point Blade manufactured out of A2 Tool Steel. The notches on the top of the blade are for use on a Ferro Rod.
The black Micarta Handle is contoured for comfort with a backup Lanyard Hole and an extended Lanyard Loop.
The knife carries in a top quality brown Leather Sheath.
