Product Description:

Designed in collaboration with the designer Franck Fontana, the Picnic + set is a collection of clever and sustainable accessories for comfortable meals on the go.
 
It comes with:
 
- A No. 08 Pocket Knife
- Two inserts, a fork and a spoon, that attach to the No. 08 knife
- A microfibre towel case that is both a storage and cleaning device
 
The inserts are made of stainless steel, so they are pleasant to eat with as well as being sturdy and hygienic (compatible with wooden handled N°08 knives, equipped with the Virobloc safety ring marketed since 2000).
 
To attach the fork or spoon:
 
- with the knife blade closed, open the rotating ring
- attach the fork or spoon onto the ring using the small nicks
- close the ring
 
The kit is suitable for outdoor meals (picnic, bivouacs, camping, etc.) as well as for meals on the go at the office!

This 12C27 Stainless Steel is capable of undergoing the heat treatment that gives it its good hardness is called martensitic. It has a Carbon content of at least 0.40%, giving it a good cutting edge and an excellent resistance to corrosion.

Each Blade locks using the Virobloc Safety Ring which was developed by Opinel which in addition to locking the Blade in the open position for safety of use, now enables locking of the Blade in the closed position for safety during carrying.

The Handle is made from durable Beech which is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, our beech is hard, durable and easy to work. With a homogeneous appearance, its light color varies from yellow to pink. It is characterized by the presence of numerous small dark dashes.
