About Karesuando:
Karesuando Knives are made in Sweden adapting to the barren, arctic climate of the Swedish mountains, forests and wilderness which means these knives can adapt to the harshest environments.
Karesuando products are traditionally handcrafted from natural raw materials such as bone and reindeer antlers and are generally made from the finest quality Swedish Sandvik 12C27 Stainless Steel.
We also stock the one-of-a-kind Karesuando Firestriker Reindeer Horn made from genuine reindeer horn with reindeer skin lanyard. A great fire starter with outstanding performance. Karesuando knives and tools are great for hunting, camping and bushcraft.
The Karesuando Bushcraft / Hunting Axe made in the Artic North of Swedish Lapland with a focus on functionality combined with traditional Nordic Design.
Here in northern Lappland at Karesuandokniven®, we manufacture handmade bushcraft axes for wood chopping, wood splitting and lighter forestry work. All of our handmade bushcraft axes are made of stainless steel and ideal to bring with to your summer cottage or on a camping trip in the woods.
The 8 cm wide Blade is very sharp and is made from 5CR15MoV Stainless Steel (HRC 54-55) with a carbon black powder coating.
The red Beech Wood Handle has a stunning pattern and is shaped as such that you have a comfortable Grip. The material is incredibly strong.
This axe easily absorbs heavy blows and is therefore perfect during your bushcraft adventure. The handle is a little rougher than you might be used to from Karesuando's hunting axes. The thicker end has been enhanced with a piece of reindeer antler to add a nice finish. In addition, a piece of reindeer antler was added to the Handle and enhanced with the Karesuando Logo.
The Sheath is side stitched and made from black Swedish vegetable tanned Cow Hide Leather.
Each Karesuando Knife or Axe is painstakingly hand crafted for the ultimate Quality and Outdoor Durability.
