The Condor Departure Bolo Machete CTK3955-12.2HC is a Machete with typical Bolo Blade. A remarkable shape that is great for the more demanding tasks. When you look the Handle you see that the edge is located a little lower. As such your movements will be extra powerful.
The Condor Departure Bolo Machete is made from 1075 High Carbon Steel and comes with a very comfortable Walnut Wood Handle with Lanyard Hole.
The Blade is heat treated and annealed to approximately 53 Rockwell Harness. The Edges are hand-finished and polished to razor sharpness.
1075 HC Steel is a strong steel that is easy to sharpen, and can also take quite a beating. 1075, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while.
Like most Condors, the Departure Bolo Machete comes with a full-grain Leather Sheath with Belt Loop.
All Condor Machetes arrive razor sharp from the factory and no additional sharpening required.
