This is the longer, thicker "Wilderness" model of the popular ESEE-3 Tactical Knife.
The ESEE-4PB-017 fixed blade knife features natural 3D Micarta Handle Scales and a black finished 1095 High Carbon Steel Blade with a plain cutting edge. The 3D machined handles give this knife an improved ergonomic grip over the slab Micarta scales. Includes a black molded Polymer Sheath.
And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. ESEE Knives suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor such as Tuf-Glide or Tuf-Cloth.
With its 3/16" thickness, full flat grind, rounded pommel, the Esee 4 3D Knife can serve as a primary Backpacking and Wilderness Survival Knife set up more for Hunting and Bushcrafting type of tasks.
This ESEE 4 Knife comes with a black molded Polymer Sheath, Boot /Belt Clip, Paracord Lanyard, Cord Lock.
Each Esee Knife has a Serial Number on back of Pommel.
