The Silky Outback Edition hand saws feature a handle made of arbor composite which provides excellent grip and control for wet, cold and game-processing conditions.
The blade can cut bone and wood, and is black-plated with a nickel/tin blend to improve durability and reduce reflection for stealth, low-impact activities. 6.5 (5.5 tpi) and weights 1.05 lbs (478g).
This Japanese Made Saw cuts on the Pull-stroke, as opposed to the traditional Push-stroke cut of most Western-style Saws. A pull-stroke cut is actually more efficient because there is no tendency for the blade to buckle and bind in the kerf.
These saws take a little getting used to, but once you have adapted your cutting technique, you will be able to cut faster, straighter and with less effort than ever before!
