The Moran/Spyderco collaboration is the ultimate Outdoor Camp/Survival Style Knife and includes the Bill Moran Drop-Point. The Moran Drop-Point Hunter comes with an easy-to-see Safety Orange Handle.
Spyderco Engineers opted to use VG-10 Stainless Steel for the Blade. Due to its extremely high Carbon content and tight grain structure, VG-10 takes and holds a superior Edge. The Moran-style skinning blade is 99mm with a Satin Finish. We’ve ground it fully-flat for high performance cutting.
The knife justly earns the name Featherweight by incorporating an ergonomic lighter than air, handle of safety orange FRN (Fiberglass Reinforced Nylon) with black non-slip Kraton® Side Grips.
It carries in Boltaron® Sheath equipped with a G-Clip Clip System that attaches to a Belt or Waistband in a Cross-draw, horizontal, inverted, vertical or small of Back Position.
