Black Emery custom formulated Compound Bar of stropping compound.
Just add this to your leather strop and it is all you need to keep your Knife hair popping sharp.
The Black Emery Compound (approx. 3000 Grit) is more aggressive and should be used first followed by a finer compound. Black Emery for faster cutting action, removes rust scales, carbon, heavy tarnish.
The Green Compound is a finer compound (approx 6,000 Grit) for final honing and should be used to put that hair shaving edge on your knife. Green Compound for polishing, lapping, stropping and honing.
The waxy consistency makes it easy to apply the compound.
Advice:
Stropping a tool or knife is one of the least understood and least appreciated ways to perfect your blade edge. After sharpening your knife on a stone, stropping will enhance the edge quickly and easily.
Stropping the edges of your tools and knives on a regular basis can double the time between sharpenings.
