Knife Description:
 
Classic design Pocket Knife by German Manufacturer Otter Knives, or Otter Messer. This "Hippekniep" is a simple and robust Pocket Knife.

The large size Hippekniep Pocket Knife comes with wooden smoked Oakwood Handle with Stainless Steel Liners. The iron pin, holding the blade in position has a large round head which is reinforced with a wide brass ferrule. The loosening could be tightened somewhat by pounding the rivet, in cases where excessive or incorrect use would loosen the fit of the Blade.
 
The large 9.5 cm Blade is manufactured from German 75 Carbon Steel and stropped by hand to get them ultra-sharp.

All Otter Messer are handmade in Germany’s Cutlery City Solingen since 1840.
