The Worksharp E4-I Electric Kitchen Knife Sharpener works with the press of a button. The sharpener automatically turns off at the end of a sharpening cycle—delivering professional results every time.
Unlike most sharpeners that use diamond grind plates, Work Sharp Culinary Kitchen Knife Sharpeners use flexible abrasives for a gentler sharpening and a sharper edge. Built-in angle guides ensure the perfect, uniform edge for a flawless slice from tip to heel, and an automated timer lets you know you when your knife is sharp.
The compact design of the Work Sharp Kitchen Knife Sharpener means less counter space or easy storage. In addition to kitchen knives, this machine can sharpen your scissors, shears, and pocket knives! An integrated ceramic honing slot makes touch-ups between sharpenings quick and easy.
The Work Sharp E4-I Kitchen Knife Sharpener is clean, simple, and built to become an integral part of your kitchen by ensuring your most important tool– your knife– is sharp all the time.
Easy To Operate!
You turn on the device and you can select from a 3 - Step Sharpening Process:
- Step 1 Shape—In this stage, the E4-I is prepping the knife for sharpening by re-shaping the edge. In this stage, excess material is stripped off.
- Step 2 Sharpening—In this stage, the E4-I sharpens the edge by stripping off enough material to restore the original factory bevel of the knife.
- Step 3 Refine—In this stage, the E4-I polishes and refines the edge by stripping off minimal material. The goal is to get the sharpest edge possible!
All of the above 3 stages are timed and pre-programmed, so there’s no messing around with speeds or timing. You simply select whatever stage you desire and away you go!
The E4 got A Built-In Vacuum more metal shavings and dust. It’s a quick and simple way to keep your kitchen counters clean and safe for food prep.
The E4 itself comes with 3 abrasive belts, all with the same P120 red coarse grit.
Note: Replacement Belts, including different grits, are available - can be purchased separately.
The Worksharp unit comes with a strong 230V Motor and AUS/NZ Plug.
