Product Description:
The Casström No. 08 Classic Wood Carving Knife Curly Birch 15002 is a classic wood carving knife. To cut out a wooden spoon or a classic Swedish Dala horse from a piece of wood: the Casström No. 08 will give you the flexibility and grip you need. The wooden handle is sturdy compared to the blade length. As a result you will have enough control while cutting.
The blade is made of carbon steel. A type of steel that is easy to sharpen. Be on the lookout, however, for rust: carbon steel is not stainless. So clean it after use, and occasionally add a couple drops of oil. Its pointed shape enables you to carry out many different tasks.
The Casström No. 08 has a handle made from curly birch wood. It is enhanced with a nice pattern. As such each knife is unique.
The Casström No. 08 Classic Wood Carving Knife comes with a simple leather sheath, without a belt loop.
