The PUMA Gold Series Knives are made in Solingen, Germany, by skilled craftsmen and have long set the standard for the ultimate hunting knife.
Whether for skinning, caping or general work, PUMA Knives are the best you can get. The Stag Handles are formed from the shed Antlers of Wild Stag Deer and each stag-handled Knife is truly a unique one-of-a-kind tool. Each Handle Scale is boiled, stretched and dried over a period of weeks. It is then individually cut and hand fitted to your knife.
Brass Rivets are then used to attach the scales to the Knife and they are welded together. The Rivet Heads are then filed and finally burnished off for the best fit and function imaginable. While this old-fashioned manufacturing method is more expensive, we think this is the way to make a one-of-a-kind knife.
The PUMA Blade is German-grade 1.4116 stainless steel for sharpness retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Once the PUMA blade is forged, it is tempered and hand finished in 22 separate steps by skilled craftsmen. Each step uses increasingly fine lubricants, oil coolants, and special polishing grease.
The Handle is full tang with Aluminium Finger Guard and Lanyard Hole. Hold a Puma in your hand, and feel the difference.
Each Blade bears the distinctive "diamond needle" proof mark of a Rockwell Hardness tester that verifies the proper hardness of the blade.
Handmade in Solingen, Germany, the Puma White Hunter Knife has quality written all over it. Experts using the Knife day in day out reckon it is one of the sharpest and holds an edge for the longest of nearly any knife on the market.
It has a sturdy Stag Horn Handle with an extended Thumb Guard to prevent the hand from slipping and a small serrated area on the Blade for the really tough cutting jobs.
The hollow-ground Drop-Point Blade of the White Hunter is 15.5 cm long and its Overall Length is 24 cm.
The White Hunter comes with a superb brown Leather Belt Sheath.
