Knife Description:

Designed by Custom Knife Maker, Phil Boguszewski, the Ti-Lite® Tactical Folders evoke the sleek Speed and Rebellious Lines of the classic 1950’s-styled Switchblade. Unlike most Switchblades however, these Folders are however legal to carry in most countries.

The 6” Ti-Lite Folder with Aluminium Handle features a razor-sharp Edge  manufactured from Carpenter CTS® XHP Alloy Stainless Steel with a Bead Blast Finish.

The CNC-milled Handle is forged from super tough 7075 Aluminum Billets and is given an attractive bead blast surface and finished with a protective EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating.

And for maximum strength and safety, we have equipped our Ti-Lites® with our patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring locks (proven, in our tests, to hold 130 lbs).

For ease of carry, the 6 Inch Ti-Lite® Folder comes equipped with a small, but unobtrusive Stainless Steel Pocket Clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the Thumb Studs or by snagging a Quillion on the edge of your pocket as you draw your Ti-Lite out.

Note: About Carpenter CTS® XHP Alloy

Carpenter® CTS® XHP Alloy is powder metallurgy, air-hardening, high carbon, high chromium, corrosion-resistant alloy. It can be considered either a high hardness 440C Stainless Steel or a corrosion-resistant D2 Tool Steel.

CTS XHP Alloy possesses corrosion resistance equivalent to 440C Stainless Steel and can attain a maximum hardness of 64 HRC. In addition, the composition of CTS XHP Alloy has been balanced so that it can attain a minimum hardness of 60 HRC when air cooled from hardening temperatures of 1010°C to 1093°C.

Carpenter CTS XHP can be used for specialty knives where the alloy's fine Carbide Distribution can be used to produce a keenly sharp cutting edge. The material can be easily ground to the thin profiles required for cutting tools.
