Opinel - the traditional, convenient and Multi-purpose Pocket Knife.

Each Opinel Carbon Steel Knife comes with a Beechwood Handle and a tempered XC90 Carbon Steel Blade with Opinel’s crowned Hand and Hallmark Etching.

The No. 2 to 5 Knives have no Locking Blade Mechanism, and use only the Friction of the Clamping Band against the compressed Handle and Knife Tang to hold the Blade open.

The No. 6 to No. 12 Knives feature a Virobloc Safety Ring for locking the Blade either in open or closed position.

Opinel Carbon Knife blades are made using High Carbon Steels guaranteeing the good strength of the Cutting Edge, Resistance to Wear and easy Sharpening.

The knives store in a wooden Display Box made out of Beechwood.
