Knife Description: 

The Silver Stag Backwoods Pro Slab Knife is manufactured out of quality D2 Tool Steel; a High Carbon Steel possessing extremely high wear resisting properties. 

The high Chromium content provides good corrosion resistance. 

The Backwoods Pro comes with an 8.5 cm Upswept Skinning Blade. 

Silver Stag heat treat their D2 blades to a 60 Rockwell Hardness and the blades will retain their factory edge for extended periods of heavy use. When it does come time to re-sharpen, your Tool Steel Blade it is easier to sharpen than Stainless Steel. 

Anyone who has ever used a good D2 Steel Blade in the field, raves about the Steel’s cutting ability, durability, and edge holding properties. Silver Stag strongly believes D2 is the best Steel you can use for a hardcore, working knife! 

The Back Woods Pro Knife comes with shed Moose or Elk Antler Handle Scales. 

Your Bullnose Slab Skinning Knife includes a handmade Leather Sheath and the Knife carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
