Clearing Axe Description: 

Slashers are very useful in the garden and in the forest as they make short work of clearing scrub and undergrowth. 

The Gherardi Slasher is manufactured by Gherardi in Argentina out of Forged Carbon Steel which is hardened and tempered with a Rockwell Hardness of RCH 42 – 44 which enables it to keep a good edge while being easy to re-sharpen. 

Each Gherardi Slasher comes with a Brazilian Guayabi Wood handle which is used mostly for its strength. 

The Gherardi Slasher does normally come non sharpened. This Slasher was sharpened to a razor sharp shaving edge by Top Gear’s Cutler Mike.
