Knife Description:

The new DPx Gear HEST 2.0 Knife (Hostile Environment Survival Tool) is a brutal, rugged frame lock folder designed and made for hard use in hostile conditions.

The D2 Tool Steel folder comes with an American Titanium alloy frame, patented RotoBlock adjustment, removable glass breaker, hex-bit driver in handle/frame and collectible Mr DP adjustment/multi tool.

The DPx Hest Folder features a blade made out of D2 Tool Steel which has an exceptional edge retention, resists corrosion and has a Rockwell Hardness of 60.

The blade is coated with a MilSpec phosphate coating to create a hard durable finish.

The handle scale is G10, a virtually indestructibe material that balances lightweight with resistance to wear and is unaffected by heat, humidity or freezing.

The unique hard-use jimping on the DPx HEST folder provides a no-slip thumb grip in slippery conditions and also doubles as a wire stripper or lashing point.

There is a ¼” Hex Driver opening that can be used with the blade open or closed that also doubles as a rear lashing point.

The removable pocket clip is tempered Stainless Steel.

The glass breaker can be replaced with the supplied flat faced screw using the Mr DP tool.
