E. Goddard Limited have a proud heritage stretching from 1927 until today. Edward Goddard, a master cutler from Sheffield, England, emigrated to New Zealand and began designing and manufacturing knives in 1927. The company has grown steadily during its history.
E. Goddard was a major supplier of combat knives for the U.S. Army in World War II. All major meat and fish processing companies in New Zealand and Australia currently use Victory Knives.
E. Goddard continues to thrive today by maintaining the highest standards in manufacture and materials, building its reputation for unsurpassed quality.
Knife Description:
All Victory knives are manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand.
The 15 cm hollow-ground Skinning Blade is manufactured from German X46Cr13 no-stain Stainless Steel. The Blade has a Rockwell Hardness of 54-56 HrC after a fast Oil Quench, then an overnight -78C Sub-zero Quench and a double Temper after Hardening. Its benefit is a strong, hard and wear resistant Blade with an improved Edge Retention.
The knife comes with a classic blue Thermo Plastic Elastomer (TPE) Progrip Handle and Finger Guard made for added Safety which has proven robust and practical.
All Handle and Blade Materials in Victory Knives are MAF and FDA approved.
Each knife is engraved with a unique Serial Number.
