Knife Description:
Basic 511 is the most used of our classic Knives. Appreciated and loved by professionals and hobby craftsmen for generations, it’s a proper Mora knife.
The Blade is made of high quality Swedish Carbon Steel, manufactured in Mora according to our secret recipe. The Carbon Steel makes the Knife easier to re-sharpen so you can use it over and over again. However, keep in mind that Carbon Steel can be affected by moisture and corrosive environments so make it a habit to wipe your knife and oil the blade after using it.
The solid Finger Guard optimizes safety and the new, larger-shaped handle makes the knife sit even better in your hand.
The Mora Basic 511 Knife is a very adaptable and a very sharp knife with a 9.2 cm Clip-Point Blade with a Scandi Grind manufactured out of high quality Swedish Carbon Steel that maintains its sharpness longer and can withstand a higher load on the blade.
The Mora Limited Edition 2020 511 Knife comes with non-slip Rubber Handle with a yellow/black textured, rubberized Grip which makes the knife very comfortable to hold and offers good traction in the hand. The Finger Guard has been developed to optimize safety.
The knife carries in a yellow injection-molded Polypropylene Sheath with a Plastic Belt Clip and a Drainage Hole in the bottom.
