Quality extra-wide, 8 cm, Herold Leather Razor Strop with Metal Handle and Swivel sewn into the Strop.
This strop is made from their "Juchtenleder" Leather, or traditional Russian Leather. Russian Leather is well known to provide a fantastic feel when stropping, with very good longevity. Another famous brand uses the same leather, and it is very hard to keep in stock. This product is highly recommended and is finished nicely with a slight edge bevel.
The Razor Strop is suitable for solid paste or tube strop paste.

About Leather Strops:
In order to get the best possible shave you are looking for you need a blade that is razor sharp, tuned, and aligned.
So that’s why it is necessary to take exceptionally good care of your blade. Since a razor blade is so very thin, it is easy to nick, dent, or misalign you need to have the right sharpening tool; a razor strop. Sending it out to constantly be sharpened or honed is not convenient and even if you do it yourself, each sharpening grinds more metal away and you are soon left with no blade at all. That is where stropping comes in. On a blade this thin, you must strop the razor before each use to shape and re-align the blade. It extends the life of that working edge, without losing any precious material.
