Expand your current Lansky Sharpening System with one of these fine hones.
Made in the USA
Product Description:
For use with your Lansky Sharpening System.
Use this Hard Natural Arkansas Hone – for a very fine Edge or touching up an already sharpened Blade. This Extra Hard Arkansas is comparable to a 1200-1400 Grit. Made from naturally occurring Novaculite Arkansas Stone.
Natural Arkansas Sharpening Hones have the unique ability to polish the blade as they sharpen.
Lansky recommends to use Lansky Natan’s natural Honing Oil - a specially formulated lubricant for use with Lansky Sharpeners and Natural Arkansas Benchstones.
Recommended by Svord for sharpening their knives manufactured out of High Carbon Steel.
Note: Please note, always use a Sharpening Lubricant when sharpening a knife with Natural Arkansas Stones. Using a Natural Arkansas stone to sharpen a knife blade without some type of lubricant will damage your stone and cause it to lose its sharpening capabilities. A lubricant keeps the pores of the stone clean, dissipates frictional heat, and ensures a smooth sharpening action.
