The extra coarse 70 grit Diamond Hone is designed specifically for repairing heavy duty damaged edges, re-profiling a knife's bevel and sharpening modern wear resistance steels.  

Diamond Coatings are designed to work best on modern, wear resistant Tool Steels and Premium Steels. 

Lansky’s Diamond Sharpening Hones have set the worldwide Standard for modern Sharpening Technology.
