About Mora:
The town of Mora in Sweden has been a center of knife making for many centuries.
The naturally superior Swedish steel, combined with skilled craftsmanship, resulted in knives that became famous for their ability to hold a superior edge and sharpen easily.
In fishing, sporting, hunting, survival, and tradesman circles, Mora knives are well known for their superior ability to cut, chop, carve, clean and fillet.
Knife Description:
The Morakniv Basic Wood Carving Knife is, as the name suggests, an ideal entry-level knife for Carving and Woodworking.
With such a small price tag the knife is perfect for beginners, yet the typically high-quality High Carbon Steel Mora blade makes it suitable for more experienced users as well.
The Mora Basic Wood Carving Knife comes with an 8 cm narrow Carving Blade manufactured out of Laminated Stainless Steel. The Knife has a 19 cm overall length and comes absolutely razor sharp and ready for use.
The Basic Wood Carving Knife comes complete with a tough, ergonomic handle made from Birch Wood, along with a matching sheath.
The knife has a Rockwell Hardness of 61-62 which gives the knife extreme strength, long life and high resistance to moisture.
Comes with a black injection-molded black ABS Plastic Sheath which has a plastic belt strap and a bottom drain hole.
