Knife Description:
Spyderco's Pattada was a modern interpretation of the traditional resolza, the signature folding knife of the city of Pattada, Sardinia. The Pattadese (pronounced pah-tah-day-say) takes that stunning design and scales it down by over 15 percent to make it even handier and more pocket friendly.
A proud member of Spyderco's Ethnic Series, the Pattadese's iconic Blade shape is faithfully expressed in Bohler M390 Stainless Steel.
The full-flat-ground plain edge Drop-Point Blade is housed in a gracefully curved handle built with full Stainless Steel Liners and beautifully contoured G10 Handle Scales.
A sturdy Liner Lock mechanism ensures that the blade locks securely open when in use and a deep-pocket wire clip keeps the Pattadese poised for instant access by providing a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry.
The fit and finish of this knife is superb and it comes razor sharp from the factory as you’d expect from Spyderco.

About Bohler M390:
M390 is an ultra-premium or super steel formulated by Bohler-Uddeholm (combination of Bohler from Austria and Uddeholm from Sweden). It is a type of martensitic Stainless Steel having high vanadium and high chromium and is made using the third-generation Powder Metallurgy (PM) technology to ensure additional resistance to corrosion and wear.
According to the Bohler specifications, this super stainless steel has a rating of 60 – 62 HRC on the Rockwell scale. This hardness level is high and provides an ideal balance of extreme resistance to wear and edge retention. Considering this hardness level, this steel is ideal for outdoor activities.
