When you purchase a Spyderco you are buying a high-quality reliable cutting tool designed and manufactured for peak performance and ergonomic comfort. Those Who Know Carry Spyderco.
Knife Description:
The ManBug is a uniquely practical folder designed by Spyderco’s founder, Sal Glesser. Despite the wide array of knives available to him, the one he carries most often is the Spyderco LadyBug a small, go-anywhere clipless Folder that rides in the pocket.
The result is the Man Bug an amazingly handy cutting tool that is more at home in larger hands while still fitting inconspicuously in a pocket or even on a keychain.
From a functional standpoint, knives with coated blades are most relevant to the needs of tactical users concerned with light discipline. Truth be told, though, many knife fans simply prefer the aesthetics of black blades. The black-bladed Manbug Wharncliffe is the perfect pocket companion for this crowd, offering the impressive cutting performance of a Wharncliffe Blade cloaked in a non-reflective Titanium Carbonitride (TiCN) coating.
The Manbug comes with a flat ground Wharncliffe Blade manufactured from VG-10 Stainless Steel and is matched up with a black lightweight FRN Handle of fiberglass-reinforced nylon resin making the entire knife weigh only 20 grams.
The Man Bug doesn’t have a clip but rather a lanyard hole for attachment to a keychain or lanyard.
