Knife Description:
Chaparral is a shrub native to the Western United States with the unique ability to perennially survive, revive and regenerate after being destroyed by drought or fire.
Like a season it returns year after year. It's also what Spyderco calls a new and continuing series of Gentlemen's Folders.
The Spyderco Chaparral is an ideal size and weight to become your favorite EDC! Comfortable in the hand and nice to look at, the carbon fiber handle adds character to this lock back blade.
This mid-sized Chaparral folders will have identical blade and handle profiles but showcase variant handle materials. Handle options were chosen for their elegant appearance and functional utility with a focus directed at making the Chaparral series unique as well as a serious contender in the gent's knife genre. Possibly Spyderco's thinnest, lightest mid-sized CLIPIT yet, the Chaparral will has a carbon-fiber handle with a mid-positioned back lock and screw-together construction.
A wire clip has been attached and can be reversed for right or left-handed tip-up carry. In combination with the Spyderco round hole, lock back mechanism and reversible clip, this knife is perfect for righty's and lefty's alike.
The leaf-shaped Blade is manufactured from CTS-XHP Stainless Steel. The blade is ground full-flat and offered PlainEdged for the best available cutting performance with non-skid jimping located at both the spine and choil.
The fit and finish of this knife is superb and it comes razor sharp from the factory as you expect from Spyderco.
