SlipStrop Kit Description:

The Flexcut Powerstrop Kit is an economical way for maintaining your Flexcut Woodcarving Tools with a razor edge.

Simply mount it in your power drill and you're ready to go. Fits into any standard Power Drill. Rated for 600-800 RPM

Nothing can put an edge on your cutting tools better than a Leather Strop and this one will bring it to razor sharpness.

Package includes:
 
  • 1 - Flat Leather Wheel,
  • 1 – V-Shape Leather Wheel for the Sharpening of Gouges
  • 1 - Chuck and Polishing Compound Bar
  • 1 - Detailed Instructions.

Your Flexcut Carving Tools are pre-sharpened at the factory to a highly polished razor's edge. This creates an efficient, long-lasting cutting tool. The more polished the edge, the sharper it is and the longer it will stay sharp.

Keeping your tools sharp requires some routine maintenance. This can most easily be done by periodically stropping both sides of the edge with a Flexcut SlipStrop™ or Flexcut Power Strop and Flexcut Polishing Compound.

Sharpening stones should not be used for this routine maintenance. They are too coarse and will put scratches in the polish, reducing the sharpness.
