About Mora:
The town of Mora in Sweden has been a Centre of knife making for many centuries.
The naturally superior Swedish steel, combined with skilled craftsmanship, resulted in knives that became famous for their ability to hold a superior edge and sharpen easily.
TV bushcraft presenters such as Ray Mears recommends the Mora knives which are well known in Fishing, Bushcraft, Hunting or Survival circles, for their superior ability to cut, chop and fillet.
Knife Description:
The Mora Companion Rescue Knife is a very sharp knife with a 10 cm Blade manufactured out of high quality Swedish 12C27 Sandvik Steel.
The knife has a Rockwell Hardness of 57-58 which gives the knife extreme strength, long life and high resistance to moisture.
Designed for Rescue Use, this well-made Rescue Knife comes in a high-visibility florescent orange colour. Its serrations and blunt Tip makes it a very handy knife for use on boats, for cutting ropes and other utility uses.
The Rescue Knife comes with a Dryflex Polypropylene Handle with a black, textured, rubberized Grip which makes the knife very comfortable to hold and offers good traction in the hand. Being that Dryflex is Latex-free, the Companion Clipper Knife is suitable for those with Latex Allergies.
The knife carries in an orange injection-molded Polypropylene Sheath with a plastic Belt Clip and a Drainage Hole in the bottom.
