About Mora:
The town of Mora in Sweden has been a center of knife making for many centuries. The naturally superior Swedish steel, combined with skilled craftsmanship, resulted in knives that became famous for their ability to hold a superior edge and sharpen easily.
In fishing, sporting, hunting, survival, tradesman and the professional culinary industries, Mora knives are well known for their superior ability to cut, chop, clean and fillet.
Knife Description:
The Knife has a 20 cm overall length and comes absolutely razor sharp and ready for use. The knife has a Rockwell Hardness of 57-58 which gives the knife extreme strength, long life and high resistance to moisture.
Just like the majority of our Classical Knives, the Classic 611 is made of carbon steel. This also means that it requires a bit more care, so make sure to wipe the blade after usage and oil it regularly. The double finger guard makes for safe handling as it prevents fingers from sliding forward onto the blade. The red wooden handle of painted Birch Wood is both beautiful easy to work with and has just the right feel.
