Handcrafted in Willamette Valley Oregon, Ferrum’s Reserve 8” Chef’s Knife features a Handle made from reclaimed Oregon Black Walnut contoured to fit perfectly into your hand.
Each Blade is forged from tough cryo-hardened US Nitrogen Steel, providing a super-sharp cutting performance; blade is wrapped in a layer of Chromium rich alloy to protect from harsh corrosive elements. Each Blade is hand sharpened to a 16 Degree “Apple Seed” Edge for long-lasting cutting performance. Treatment results in a 61° Rockwell Hardness,
The Ferrum Reserve Carver Knife features a long, narrow blade excellent for cutting thin, uniformed slices from large roasts, hams, & turkeys. The pointed edge and ridged tip help to cut meat away from the bone and the long blade reduces the need for sawing.
The beautiful handcrafted Walnut Handle is shaped from reclaimed Hardwood; special Burnishing Technique and Oil Rub gives the Handle a luster finish
