Handcrafted in Willamette Valley Oregon, Ferrum’s Reserve 6” Chef’s Knife features a Handle made from reclaimed Oregon Black Walnut contoured to fit perfectly into your hand.
Each Blade is forged from tough cryo-hardened US Nitrogen Steel, providing a super-sharp cutting performance; blade is wrapped in a layer of Chromium rich alloy to protect from harsh corrosive elements. Each Blade is hand sharpened to a 16 Degree “Apple Seed” Edge for long-lasting cutting performance. Treatment results in a 61° Rockwell Hardness.
The Ferrum Reserve Chef's Knife is designed for slicing, dicing, and chopping a full range of fruits, vegetables, and more. With its curved Belly, this Knife can be gently rocked through fresh herbs or spices to produce a very fine mince.
The beautiful handcrafted Walnut Handle is shaped from reclaimed Hardwood; special Burnishing Technique and Oil Rub
gives the Handle a luster finish.
Our Chef's Ferrum Knife combines the style of a cleaver and a chef’s knife allowing for exceptional versatility and more control. It’s perfect for slicing, dicing, and mincing and particularly useful for thin slices and sticky foods.
