Benchstone Description:
Bench Stones are probably the most popular whetstone shape known to users universally.
Arkansas Wet Stones are commonly used for sharpening a variety of knives and cutting tools. Arkansas Hones do not come in grit sizes but in hardness levels.
This Soft Arkansas Whetstone is the rarest and finest abrasive stone in existence and is an excellent General Purpose Stone.
The Soft Arkansas Benchstone is 25.5 cm long, 5 cm wide and approx. 1.7 cm thick and comes on a Hardwood Block.
Soft Arkansas (Medium) is the most popular of the grades of Novaculite. This stone is used by people who desire keen, polished edges on their knives and tools in a minimum amount of time. This is an Oil Stone – Use with Oil.
It is an all-purpose stone used by woodcarvers, sportsmen, butchers, commercial knife sharpeners and even housewives.
Note: Variations in colour are entirely the work of nature and in no way affect the quality of the stone. As Arkansas Wet Stones are cut out of a natural stones, there might be tiny little chippings on the edges. Which will however in no way affect the quality of the stone.
