Machete Description:
The Golok Machete is an Indonesian design that encompasses a thick bladewith a pronounced taper. The result is an outstanding combination of chopping and slicing power.
A Golok Machete is heavy duty yet well balanced. The classic blade has the chopping power of an axe with the slicing ability of a machete. The machete is distal tapered and tapered from the spine to the edge to make one of the most high performance cutting blades on the market today.
The Condor Pack Golok Survival Machete is designed small enough to travel but tough enough for the tasks required in a survival or camping scenario.
The Condor Pack Golok Survival Knife has a weight-forward blade and a bulging tip that is pointed. The bulging blade adds weight and strength to the end giving the Pack Golok added chopping power.
The Condor Pack Golok Machete has a 27.9 cm Blade manufactured from 1075 HC High Carbon Steel finished in black epoxy powder coat. The blade is heat treated and annealed to approximately 53 Rockwell Harness. The Edges are hand-finished and polished to razor sharpness.
The Pack Golok Machete features a Hardwood Handle and comes complete with a hand crafted wetted Leather Sheath and Belt Loop.
All Condor Machetes arrive razor sharp from the factory and no additional sharpening required.
