Knife Description:
The Spyderco Ladybug 3 attaches to your keychain and is nearly as small as your car.
Spyderco’s smallest lightweight knife is the Ladybug. Made of K390 Tool Steel, the flat-ground blade comes in a Plain Edge configuration.
This remarkable expression of the Ladybug is the first in a special series of Spyderco knives to supercharge the proven features of well-established models with this elite, high-performance steel.
To make these K390-bladed knives even more unique, their injection-molded FRN handles will feature a distinctive blue handle color.
About K390 Steel
K390 is a high-alloy particle metallurgy tool steel enriched with high volumes of vanadium, tungsten, and cobalt. Produced by Böhler Uddeholm, its advanced alloy composition offers exceptional edge retention and toughness and makes it an ideal choice for steel connoisseurs.
This modified Clip-Point Blade is matched up with a blue, lightweight Handle of fiberglass-reinforced nylon (FRN) resin making the entire knife weigh only a bit over 17 grams.
The Ladybug 3 doesn’t have a clip but rather a lanyard hole for attachment to a keychain or lanyard.
