The Silver Stag Schnoor Hunter Slab Knife is manufactured out of quality D2 Tool Steel; a High Carbon Steel possessing extremely high wear resisting properties. The high Chromium content provides good corrosion resistance.
The Silver Stag Slab Series designs are guaranteed to provide the Hardcore Sportsmen with one of most practical and durable knifes ever used.
The Silver Stag Schnoor Hunter comes with an 12.5 cm Upswept Skinning Blade manufactured out of D2 Tool Steel.
Silver Stag heat-treat their D2 blades to a 60 Rockwell Hardness and the blades will retain their factory edge for extended periods of heavy use. When it does come time to re-sharpen, your Tool Steel Blade it is easier to sharpen than Stainless Steel.
Silver Stag strongly believes D2 is the best Steel you can use for a hardcore, working knife!
The Schnoor Hunter Knife comes with shed Moose or Elk Antler Handle Scales.
The Silver Stag Schnoor Hunter includes a handmade Leather Sheath and the Knife carries a Limited Lifetime Warranty.
