Knife Description:
A Puukko is a traditional Finnish fixed-blade Knife. A do-everything tool for the Hunter and Outdoorsman, its simple, functional design is highly regarded by savvy knife users worldwide.
Named for the Samoyedic people of Russia, the Kizlyar Supreme Samoyed is a blend of utilitarian design and quality modern materials in the shape of a Puukko. Made from Austrian Bohler N690 Stainless Steel, the stonewashed blade holds up well in harsh environments. Easy to field sharpen and holding a keen edge the Samoyed's blade is thick enough for heavy outdoor tasks but not so thick it cannot be put to good use prepping a hearty meal. This knife has just enough blade length for nearly every task without getting in the way.
The solid Zebrawood Handle is ergonomically shaped for maximum comfort during long work sessions. A stainless Bolster is neatly fitted to the blade with a stainless lanyard tube near the butt of the handle.
An embossed leather sheath with dangler belt attachment is included.
Used for cutting as opposed to piercing or stabbing, Puukkos have no Cross-Guard or expanded Pommel keeping the hand away from the Blade giving the knife its fluid and esthetically-balanced Appearance.
