Product Description:
Be brought closer to nature during your coffee break with a "Kåsa" from Karesuandokniven©. These traditional wooden cups are handcrafted and available in two different sizes and designs. With their beautiful Sami patterned Reindeer Antler Inlays, a Kåsa is a much-appreciated present.
Material: Swedish Birch Burl, reindeer antley and twisted leather strap. The Guksi/Kaksu holds about 10 cl/100 ml.
A genuine wooden Bushcraft Cup perfect for hunting, fishing, hiking and other outdoors activities.
The wooden Kug is made from pure natural materials and can be use for both food and hot / cold drinks.
The original Guksi or Kuksa is a wooden cup or mug crafted by the Sami people of northern Lappland made from birch burl. The wooden Sami Bushcraft Guksi/Kuksa made by Karesuando Kniven is decorated with reindeer antler inlays and has a genuine leather strap.
The cup is made according to old traditions and methods where it is boiled in saturated salt water. If you take good care of your wooden Gukis/Kaksu it will last a lifetime.
Do not use detergent or dishwasher after using this wooden cup/mug as it may damage the mug, a wooden guksi should only be rinsed off with lukewarm water. Maintain them by applying a neutral oil to the Kåsa every once in a while.
